    		•  ESI received a total of 89 proposals in response to the Fall 2004 RFP.

    		•  ESI has concluded its review and evaluation of the proposals submitted in response to the Fall 2004 RFP.

    		•  As a result of the evaluation of the "Into Entergy" LD product proposals, ESI has executed a Definitive Agreement for one (1) "Into Entergy" LD Product representing a total of 100 MW.
  •  
    		•  As a result of the evaluation of MUCCO and MUCPA product proposals, ESI has executed the following Definitive Agreements:

    		•  Two (2) Day Ahead MUCCO proposals, totaling 300 MW
     
  •  
    		•  Three (3) Intra-Day Peaking MUCCO proposals, totaling 360 MW
     
  •  
    		•  One (1) Dispatchable MUCPA proposal, totaling 290 MW
     
  •  
    		•  One (1) Three-year Reserve Capacity MUCCO proposal, up to 700 MW
  •  
    		•  Remaining Bidders have been advised that their proposals are no longer being considered.

     
    Note: ESI reserves the right to cancel, modify or withdraw this RFP and to revise the schedule in order to meet its identified objectives.
     
    At the Louisiana Public Service Commission's (“LPSC”) February 23, 2005 Open Session, the LPSC directed ELI to enter into contract negotiations for a one-year purchase power contract from Occidental Chemicals Taft Qualifying Facility (“Oxy Taft”) at market prices. Consistent with this directive, ESI, on behalf of ELI, expects to enter into negotiations for the purchase of 179 MW of capacity and energy from Oxy Taft; however, a definitive agreement has not been executed by the parties at this time. ESI’s capacity and energy may be reduced due to this pending purchase from Oxy Taft.
