ESI Spring 2003 RFP Status Update
  •  
    		•  ESI has concluded its review and evaluation of the Long Term Proposals that were short listed as a result of the Spring 2003 RFP process.
  •  
    		•  This evaluation has been reviewed by the Entergy Operating Committee, and the Operating Committee has authorized ESI to pursue negotiations for two long term resources from the Final Shortlist to meet ESI’s planning needs: one is a capacity purchase from an affiliate resource scheduled for acquisition as part of the Entergy System's SSRP for 2006; the other is a proposed bricks and mortar acquisition of a CCGT resource from a non-affiliate bidder.
  •  
    		•  Remaining bidders whose proposals had been included in the Final Shortlist have been advised that their proposals have been rejected.
  •  
    		•  ESI awarded contracts to two (2) non-affiliated bidders for two limited-term (1-3 year) resources representing a total of approximately 380MW.
