ESI Supplemental 2003 RFP Announcement of Intent to Award

    		•  ESI has completed the initial evaluation of the bids submitted in response to the Supplemental 2003 Request for Proposals, and has developed a recommended list of resources to be acquired at this time from among the responses to the RFP.
  •  
    		•  The proposals awarded represent approximately 500 MW of gas-fired generation resources, located in various regions within the Entergy System, that were bid in response to the RFP.
  •  
    		•  ESI notified bidders regarding the status of their bids on February 17, 2003, and will begin the process of finalizing the acquisition of the products chosen from the bids offered through the RFP. ESI intends to limit the negotiations associated with these resources to discussions regarding terms and conditions. Economic terms are not subject to further negotiations, and ESI expects bidders substantially to conform to the terms and conditions of the model contracts.
