Notice of Final Results of 2012 Baseload RFP
Please be advised that Entergy Services, Inc. (ESI), acting under the oversight of the Independent Monitor, has concluded its evaluation of the proposals submitted in response to the 2012 Baseload RFP (RFP). As noted in the RFP documents, a self-supply alternative, consisting of a cost-based purchase of baseload capacity and energy from the 59 MW Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Retained Share from Entergy Arkansas, Inc. ,was proposed and considered as part of the RFP. Based on the results of ESI’s evaluation, the Entergy Operating Committee has (i) elected to proceed with the self-supply alternative and (ii) elected not to move forward with any other proposal. ESI has notified each Bidder whose proposal has been eliminated from the RFP.
