Thank you for your interest in ESI’s Fall 2006 Limited-Term RFP

ESI has concluded its review and evaluation of the proposals submitted in response to the Fall 2006 Limited-Term RFP for incremental resources.   As a result of the evaluation of the proposals for incremental resources, ESI has executed the following Definitive Agreements and submitted them for regulatory approval:           Two (2) Dispatchable MUCPA proposals, totaling 580 MW   ESI is in the process of completing the evaluation of proposals for the purpose of determining whether any additional System generation may be displaced by such proposals.   As a result of the accelerated consideration of two proposals in the displacement analysis, ESI has executed the following Definitive Agreements and submitted them for regulatory approval:           Two (2) Hour Ahead Peaking MUCCO products, totaling 200 MW   ESI expects to finalize the displacement analysis process by the end of June 2007 with any Bidders being notified of an award by June 29, 2007.

ESI reserves the right to cancel, modify or withdraw this RFP and to revise the schedule specified above in order to meet its identified objectives.

(“ENO”) may participate in one or more transactions entered into as a result of this RFP. Although ENO currently is a debtor-in-possession in Docket No. 05-17697, In Re: Entergy New Orleans, Inc., Debtor, Chapter 11 Section “B” pending before the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Louisiana, ENO has filed a plan of reorganization and may wish to participate in one or more transactions, subject to any approvals required by the Bankruptcy Court.
